PEAK FITNESS

Peak Fitness was set up with the objective to provide a ‘Centre of Excellence’ fitness facility and service to the local community within Carrickmacross and surrounding areas.  The core focus of this business is to create and maintain a positive, welcoming, and healthy workout environment. The team at Peak Fitness inspire fitness enthusiasts and help them reach their ‘peak fitness’ in life, both physically and mentally.

Christina McMahon

Christina started her career in the Fitness industry in 1994 as a Fitness Instructor and Manager at a local sports centre. Along with running the sports centre, Christina competed at a national and global level in Kickboxing and has won 24 Irish titles and 10 World medals.

In 2007, Christina was titled the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations World Champion. Christina was titled Irelands First Female Professional Boxer in 2010 & Professional Boxing Champion in 2015.

In 2014 Christina was ranked as the No.1 in Europe and No.6 in the world as a professional boxer. Throughout her career, Christina has fought for three world titles in Zambia, New York and Mexico, all of which were listed as the ‘main event’ and televised across the globe.

Martin McMahon 'Frick'

Martin Mc Mahon better known as 'Frick' in the area is a level 3 Coach, a Sport Ireland Coach Tutor, level one Boxing Coach and 4th degree black belt, a former Irish Champion representing Ireland Internationally between 1993 and 1998 and a European Bronze Medallist in 1996.


Frick is the Head Coach of Carrickmacross Kickboxing and Boxing clubs where he trains and gives endless time to children and adults who want to better themselves, Ingraining self-confidence and belief, and also teaching self-defence skills. Frick travels the country and abroad with athletes yearly for training and competition. The clubs to date has many astounding achievements of which World and European titles in Boxing and Kickboxing  have been the pride of Carrickmacross.
